Salina man accused of child rape
Salina police arrest a man accused of sexually assaulting a child.

Lt. Scott Siemsen tells our news partners at The Salina Journal that the man had sexual contact with a child younger than 14 on multiple occasions since 2009.

The man was arrested on suspicion of rape, criminal sodomy and aggravated indecent liberties with a child. Investigators say the incidents occurred between August 2009 and July. The report came to police through the Kansas Department for Children and Families, which was formerly known as SRS.
