LYNCHBURG, Va.—
Part of Langhorne Road in Lynchburg will be closed Monday as crews remove downed trees caused by the June 29 storm.
Langhorne Road will be closed between Cranehill Drive and Rivermont Avenue, including Vassar Street and Oak Lane.
Originally, only one lane was supposed to be closed. But the city decided to close the street completely because of the size of trucks and trees.
Lynchburg's Department of Public Works hopes to have the street reopened by Monday afternoon.
