Miss California makes a stop at Liberty University

The beauty queen at the center of a debate over gay marriage stopped by Liberty University Wednesday.

Carrie Prejean spoke to students at the school's convocation.

The reigning Miss California has been in a firestorm after saying she opposed gay marriage at the Miss USA pageant two weeks ago.

Prejean is a rising senior at a California Christian college, but LU chancellor Jerry Falwell, Junior wants her to move to Lynchburg.

He's offering her a scholarship if she'll transfer to LU.

"This college is amazing. I'm a junior at San Diego Christian College right now, but it would be amazing to go here. I haven't made any decisions yet," says Prejean.

As for the incident that made her famous, Prejean says she thinks celebrity blogger Perez Hilton was plotting against her when he asked the gay marriage question at the pageant
