Something sweet is now in Salem

You may have seen billboard signs that says "Something sweet is coming to Salem."

Nancy's Candy Company opened its doors Monday at Lakeside.

It's where the former Lakeside Amusement Park was and displays some original objects from the park.

"Look around it's like it's like you're a kid in the candy store again. You walk in and it's colorful it's bright. We have candy music playing the entire time we're open. And its just a great environment. It's a fun environment," says store manager Sam Floyd.

Nancy the store owner will be handing out candy to customers this Thursday.

Nancy's also has locations in Meadows of Dan and Floyd County.
