News7's Chris Miles was presented with the Citizen of the Year award.The Roanoke branch of the NAACP held its annual awards dinner Friday night, and a familiar News7 face was honored.
Several hundred people turned out for the event which was held at the Hotel Roanoke.
This year's featured speaker was actor Tim Reid, well known for his roles in "WKRP in Cincinnati" as well as "Simon and Simon."
News7's Chris Miles was presented with the Citizen of the Year award in the category of media.
This year mark's the 100th anniversary of the NAACP.
