Tommy Houston's BBQ is known in the competitive circuit and has even been featured on the Food Network.
Houston tells us because those two schools and Bassett are so close to his restaurant, whenever they're playing each other Friday nights are a madhouse!This week's Friday Night Bites takes us to Pigs-R-Us.
Tommy Houston's BBQ is famous not just in Martinsville, but all over the country.
He's well known in the competitive circuit and has even been featured on the Food Network.
While we were visiting the restaurant we met a couple who traveled three hours just to eat at Pigs-R-Us.
Ronny Butler told us, "I saw Tommy on Food Network and drove all the way from North Carolina."
This week however, it's our turn to feature his prize-winning ribs, pork sandwiches and beef brisket!
Houston says there are three things that make BBQ good!
"You've got to have a good cut of meat, the right seasoning and the right type of smoke."
This week Magna Vista takes on Martinsville.
