Wheel of Fortune & Jeopardy Contest

Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy are in HD! Why aren't you?

Each weeknight for four weeks you have a chance to qualify to win a 32" LCD HD TV! Between November 2^nd and November 27^th (Monday - Friday) watch Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy on Your Hometown Station. Between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm each night you will see a commercial with a special "Puzzle of the day". Write down the puzzle and visit WDBJ7.com to enter. You will use the form on the contest page at WDBJ7.com to enter. Entries will also be accepted via mail on a standard post card. If you wish to enter via postcard you will need to include the following information:

1. Your name
2. Your birth date
3. Your address
4. Your daytime phone number
5. The date of the puzzle
6. The contents of the puzzle

On the Monday following each of the four weeks of the contest, WDBJ7 will draw at random 5 qualifiers. WDBJ7 will then draw one Grand Prize winner from the five qualifiers. The qualifiers and grand prize winner will be listed here on the contest page at WDBJ7.com. Each grand prize winner will be required to make arrangements to pick up their TV at WDBJ7's studios in Roanoke, VA.

-Contest Rules-

1. You must reside in the WDBJ7 viewing area to win. If your primary residence is not in one of the 26 counties of WDBJ7's ADI, you will be disqualified.
2. To qualify, you must not have won any other WDBJ7 contests in the past 30 days.
3. You must be a citizen of the United States.
4. You must be at least 18 years of age.
5. If you win a TV, you must make arrangements to pick up the TV at WDBJ7's Studios in Roanoke.
6. Winners agree to allow WDBJ Television, Inc. to use their likeness for promos, web, etc. without further compensation.
7. Winners assume any tax liability from prize or winnings.
8. No purchase necessary.
9. Grand Prize is a Panasonic 32" LCD HD TV
10. TV prize value is $400.
11. Failure to pick up the prize within 30 days will result in forfeiture of the prize.
12. There will be no provision for a cash prize in lieu of the television set.
13. You may only qualify once during this contest.
14. Employees of WDBJ7 and their dependents are not eligible.

The contest will run Monday - Friday during the four weeks of 11-02-2009 through 11-23-2009. No special concession will be made if the contest trigger does not run on a specific date because of programming changes or technical problems. WDBJ7 will make every effort to air the "contest trigger" each of the twenty contest days. The details of the contest are as follows:

During the time period of 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm WDBJ7 will air a fifteen second "Contest Trigger" with a puzzle of the day. Viewers must see and note the contents of the puzzle of the day. Viewers may then go to WDBJ7.com to enter the contest for that day. Viewer will enter their name, age, citizen status, address, phone number and email address. Viewers may also submit the daily puzzle on a post card and mail to: Wheel/Jeopardy Contest, 2807 Hershberger Rd., Roanoke, VA 24017. Entries on post cards will need to have the following information: Date of the puzzle, contents of the puzzle, viewer's name, viewer's birth date, home address and daytime phone number. WDBJ7 will draw at random five qualifiers the following Monday from contestants that entered the week before. The five qualifiers names will be listed on the contest page at WDBJ7.com. WDBJ7 will draw at random one Grand Prize winner from the previous week's five qualifiers. Each of the Grand Prize winners will be notified by telephone and/or email. The Grand Prize winner will be required to pick up their TV at WDBJ7's studios on Hershberger Rd. in Roanoke. Daily qualifiers will win a WDBJ7 prize pack.
