Police need help locating a purse snatcher in Lynchburg.
It happened around 9:40 p.m. on October 29th at the Shakers Restaurant on Candlers Mountain Road. Police say the victim told them someone stole her Fendi brand purse and its contents off of the back of her chair.
The purse is similar to the one shown:

The Lynchburg Police Department is currently investigating a grand larceny that occurred at Shakers Restaurant, 3401 Candlers Mountain Rd. The victim reported that on Thursday, October 29, 2009, at approximately 9:40 p.m., an unknown suspect(s) stole her Fendi brand purse and its contents off of the back of her chair. The purse is described leopard print purse and is similar to the one shown in the attached photo.
Anyone with any information regarding this crime or the identity of the suspect(s) involved is asked to contact Detective T.A. Rodes with the Lynchburg Police Department at 434-455-6176 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-798-5900.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000.00 for information that leads to the arrest of the individual(s) who committed this offense.
