Two Roanoke College students charged with abduction & sexual battery

Two Roanoke College students have been charged with abduction and sexual battery after allegedly assaulting a fellow student.

According to a news release, an 18 year old female student told police she was assaulted inside Crawford Hall, which is located in the 200 block of College Lane in Salem, around 4:30 p.m. Friday. 

Police say she told them she was with two male students in a dorm room when she was held against her will and assaulted.  She did not require any medical treatment.

Authorities have charged Nicholas Alexander Galloway, age 19, of Wilmington, Delaware and Kenneth Eugene Tisch, age 21, of Haymarket, Virginia.  Both are charged with abduction and sexual battery. 

Galloway is a freshman at Roanoke College.  Tisch is a sophomore at Roanoke College. 

The two men are being held in the Roanoke County/Salem jail.
