The Dan River has settled across the southside, but rising waters last week left a lot of damage in South Boston.
Preliminary estimates show the weekend flood will require $135,000 in repairs.
Most of the damage was done to a Wastewater Treatment Facility. A device that strains wastewater before it's cleaned was destroyed by large objects that were washed in by the flooded river.
Businesses in the Riverdale area suffered minor damage. Clean-up there will cost $37,000.
