Franklin County authorities are calling it a freak accident that killed a logger Saturday.
They say Terry Roach was cutting down a tree in the Hardy area when another tree that was supposed to be planted in the ground fell down and hit him in the back of the head.
The 48-year-old logger worked for a company out of Bedford
