Walk to cure Juvenile Diabetes, Sat. Oct. 15, 2011

On Saturday, October 15th, 2011; registration starts at 8:30 a.m. at York High School, 9300 George Washington Highway, Yorktown. Walk steps off at 10 a.m. to the Battlefields of York (Colonial National Historical Park). 11 a.m. Entertainment (including dunking booth and Sheriff Danny Diggs) & Post-walk Snacks Everyone welcome! Last year 1,500 people raised more than $275,000 for diabetes research. Yorktown's 2010 group's contribution to that total was over $50,000. Teams can register at www.jdrf.org.
