For the ninth straight year Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital has received the Consumer Choice Award as the Roanoke Valley’s preferred health care provider.
According to a news release, the award recognizes the Roanoke Memorial as one of the top hospitals in the country.
The award is given out by the National Research Corporation.
“This award comes from the patients we serve, which makes this distinction that much more rewarding,” Carilion Clinic President and Chief Executive Officer Nancy Howell Agee wrote in the news release. “Our employees are dedicated to providing the best care and hospital experience possible for our patients. We realize that patients have a choice on where they receive care and we are honored to be chosen as the top provider in our region.”
Eight hospitals were recognized in Virginia, including the Carilion New River Valley Medical Center.
