CHRISTIANSBURG, Va.—
There is great news for parents of children who maybe can't afford to take their kids to a dentist.
The Free Clinic of the New River Valley in Christiansburg has expanded its services and is now seeing children under 18 who have no insurance and those who have Medicaid. The Free Clinic's Dental Department is now the Family Dental Clinic of the New River Valley. The clinic has a full-time pediatric-focused dentist, a part-time dentist, and volunteer dentists from the community.
There is an application and $35 fee per visit for uninsured adults and children. The grand opening is set for March 4 at noon.
