Creamy Seafood Dip
This is a good choice for a party. Fresh shrimp or crab can be used in place of canned. Add chopped spinach as a variation!
4 oz. light cream cheese
1 pint low fat cottage cheese
3 tbl lemon juice
2 tsp prepared horseradish (or to taste)
1/4 tsp Tabasco Sauce (or to taste)
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1 can (6 1/2 oz) minced shrimp, crab, or clams, drained.
Have cream cheese at room temperature. In blender or food processor, blend cheeses and next three ingredients until smooth. Stir in onions and seafood. Serve with raw vegetables or crackers.
Yield: About 3 cups
