Students from across the Roanoke Valley are getting an inside look at what goes into working in the medical field.
Earlier today, our WDBJ7 camera caught up with students as they take part in Camp Carilion Clinic in Roanoke.
From CPR training to mobile stabilization, one student we spoke with is passionate about being in the medical field.
"I've been interested in the medical field for a long time. I've always enjoyed biology. Just recently I decided I wanted to be a surgeon," camp participant Issac Frank said.
The camp runs through Friday.
At the end of the camp students will get to take part in a mock hospital emergency situation where their skills will be put to the test.
