New device out of UVA changes game for Type 1 Diabetes

It is the seventh leading cause of death.  Diabetes, whether Type 1 or Type 2 can be extremely dangerous.  But in the case of Type 1, the University of Virginia is a major player when it comes to making it more manageable.
