Met Gala: Glam and slam

The Costume Institute Gala at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art is <a href="http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/gossip/la-et-mg-met-gala-photos-fashion-arrivals-carpet,0,1433920.story">excessively referred to</a> as "fashion's Oscars," but it still yielded plenty of glossy, full-length fashion shots, including Gwyneth Paltrow. Thanks to this year's multi-platform livestreaming of the arrivals, we also learned a lot of <a href="http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/gossip/la-et-mg-met-gala-aggressive-photog-quotes-awkward,0,4379570.story">belligerence and awkwardness</a> surrounds the red carpet.
