Chili Verde Recipe

1lb ground pork

1 lb ground chicken

3/4 lb fresh green tomatillos

1 large jar of salsa Verde

1 large can of chopped green chilies

1large yellow onion

2 large green bell peppers

2 jalapeno peppers

1 teaspoon minced garlic

1/2 cup chili powder

1/2 cup of brown sugar

1 tablespoon of ground cumin

3 fresh limes


Finally, chop the yellow, green and jalapenos together. (de-seed the jalapenos if you want to reduce the heat of chili)

Dice 3/4 pound of tomatillos

Place a little of oil in a large sauce pan and lace the mixture of chopped and diced veggies over med high heat.

Cook until veggies begin to soften

Set aside

Place ground pork and chicken into a large frying pan

Add a little olive oil if needed to prevent sticking

Pour in minced garlic, chili powder, brown sugar and ground cumin
