Cast Iron Apple Pie

Ingredients:
1-10" cast iron skillet
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
5 apples (Granny Smith, Bartlett, or Gala)
3-9" pie crust
1 cup granulated sugar, divided in two
2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 pinches ground clove
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Take skillet with butter place in oven to melt butter.
Sprinkle brown sugar in melted butter place back into oven for 3 minutes.
Remove skillet place first pie crust on top of butter sugar mixture.
Place half of the sliced apples on top of crust. Sprinkle half cup sugar and cinnamon with pinch of clove.
Place second crust on top of apples place remainder of apples, sugar, and clove.
Place the last crust on top and if you want brush with milk lightly and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake for 45-50 minutes.
