Granny's Apple Cake

Cake Ingredients:
2 cups sugar
Three eggs
2 cups Crisco oil vegetable
Mix for two minutes on medium
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon ginger
Cake Directions:
Mix and then add the first mixture slowly until everyone is incorporated then you want to mix on medium speed for 2 to 3 minutes.
Diced 3 cups apples add to the mixture fold in.
Put into the prepared pan and bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.
Cream Cheese Frosting Ingredients:
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cream Cheese Frosting Directions:
Cream together the cream cheese in the butter.
Add the vanilla and then add the sugar slowly.
Once the cake is topped with icing, you could add walnuts if you so desire.
