BANANAS GRILLED IN THEIR PEELS WITH
A HONEY-RUM GLAZE
2 tbs. dark rum
2 tbs. honey
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
4 bananas, peel on, sliced lengthwise
1 pint of ice cream
Blend rum, honey and cinnamon. Set aside. Over medium heat, grill bananas, cut side down, for 3 minutes. Turn bananas and brush with honey-rum glaze. Continue grilling, with lid down, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, discard peel and serve with ice cream.
