As a confirmed chocoholic with a special weakness for peanut-butter-chocolate anything, I've been addicted to these things since I was a kid. Because they don't require baking, I was allowed to whip up a batch of these without parental supervision. (You do have to melt the chocolate chips, though a few seconds in the microwave will take care of that.)
AUNT PRICILLA'S CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES
3 heaping cups of cornflakes
3 TBS peanut butter
1 package of melted chocolate bits
salt
Mash cornflakes together with peanut butter, a dash of salt and melted chocolate. Drop one glop of the concoction at a time onto a waxed-paper-covered cookie sheet. Chill and keep 'em chilled 'til served. They won't last 'til half time, so don't worry about putting 'em back in the fridge.
