16 ounces pecan pieces
1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
In a slow cooker, stir the pecans and butter together until well blended. Add the confectioners' sugar and spices, stirring to coat pecans evenly. Cover and cook on HIGH for 15 minutes. Reduce the heat to low and cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the nuts are coated with a crisp glaze, about 2 hours.
Great served warm. Also makes a nice gift when placed in a small holiday tin.
