In this handout from Disney Cruise Line, surrounded by Los Angeles Fire and Coast Guard boats, the cruise ship Disney Magic, a 2,700 passenger ship, sails out for its first of 12 consecutive cruise vacations on May 28, 2005 from the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro, California. This was the first time a Disney Cruise Line ship sailed from the state other than Florida. The cruise line brought passengers to the Mexican Riviera.
