GRAND RAPIDS—
A DTE Energy truck fell into a sink hole after a fire around the corner caused a water main to break at midday Saturday in Grand Rapids. The broken water main, which created the sinkhole, was caused by a fire that extensively damaged a house and garage at 2519 Longmeadow St. NW.
The truck was driving down Creek Bluff Place when the street collapsed underneath it. A neighbor told FOX 17 NEWS that she heard a loud noise and saw the truck had fallen into the street.
