You could feel and hear the music at FloydFest. Thousands of festival goers made their way to the grounds.
“It's beautiful, It's a beautiful day; gorgeous environment. How can you ask for anything better? Great music and people, it's beautiful,” said Jacqueline Mitchell.
Music lovers made their way to the stage to get a closer look at Carolina Chocolate Drops performance. Some say the festival is more than just about the music.
“Every little experience has been a giant puzzle piece. You put them all together. And it's just this experience of the FloydFest. It's beautiful; you can't pick just one thing,” said Erika Phillips.
Last year’s downpour left car vehicles stuck in mud but this year's event didn't see much rain.
“It's been great. We've been really luck with weather. Last year was an anomaly, and we realize a lot of things last year that in case we do get hit with that kind of weather that we can actually manage that logistically,” said event co-founder Kris Hodges.
Tickets sales were also cut back this year to allow a little more room for the crowd. There’s one more day left of the marathon music event.
