ROANOKE, Va. -

Halloween will be here before you know it, and it can be even more expensive if you have children.

If you can't afford to buy a brand new costume, why not trade out your child's gently used costume for another one?

The 3rd annual Costume Swap is coming up in October.

Parents can start dropping off costumes for the swap on Friday. When you drop off a costume, you get a ticket to use to buy another costume.

You'll be able to pick up that new costume at the swap on Saturday, October 12 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the LFA Consignment Sale.

It's at the former Kroger location on Orange Avenue in Roanoke.  Click here for a full  costume drop-off schedule.
