The Rockbridge Area Community Services Board met Wedneaday for the first time since police say State Senator Creigh Deeds' son stabbed him before killing himself. The board has been questioned for how it handled Gus Deeds' mental state reporting there were no psychiatric hospital beds available to keep him, the day before the family tragedy.

The RACSB held a moment of silence for the Deeds family and then went into a closed door meeting.

The Executive Director tells WDBJ7, the board didn't take any action Wednesday but Dennis Cropper did not elaborate on what the board discussed.
