UPDATE: Roanoke police arrest teenage murder suspect
Ingram is a suspect in the May shooting death of Wilson Abarca-Mejia.
A suspect in a Roanoke murder has been arrested.
Damonta Jybrell Ingram, 19, was arrested in Roanoke on Thursday morning. He is a suspect in the shooting death of 30-year-old Wilson Lenin Abarca-Mejia on May 7 on Abbott Street.
On June 3 Ingram was indicted by a Roanoke grand jury on murder charges.
Anita Otey, 19, was previously charged with murder in connection to the death of Abarca-Mejia.

The Roanoke Police Department is searching for a teenage murder suspect in Roanoke.
According to a news release, Damonta Ingram, 19, of Roanoke, was indicted on murder charges by a grand jury on Monday.
The shooting took place in the 1400 block of Abbott Street on May 7.
Ingram is reportedly the second suspect in last month's killing of Wilson Abarca-Mejia.
Roanoke Police Department asks that anyone with information on Ingram’s whereabouts call 911 immediately.
