A grant given to the Franklin County School system is making sure that no child is left behind.

The school system is aiming to improve the education for students with autism.
The Virginia Commonwealth University, Autism Center for Excellence cohort will provide technical assistance for the county. The consistent training will help staff in the area of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

“Children with autism have a greater need at this point so they need so they need special things that we need to provide for them,” said Pupil Personnel Services Director Gwen Adkins.
