CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -

A popular cable TV show is looking to turn your trash into treasure.

The History Channel's "American Pickers" is shooting in Charlottesville in November.

The show follows two men, Mike Wolfe and Frank Fitz, who travel the country to find valuable antiques in people's home junk-piles.

The show's producers are looking for local characters with interesting items to sell.

They’re currently looking for the following items:
- movie and music memorabilia
- sports memorabilia
- western items
-other various one-of-a-kind or interesting historical items you can imagine

What they’re NOT looking for includes items such as fine furniture, agricultural or farming items/equipment, depression glass, or pottery.
