SALEM, Va. -

Who better to teach kids about the law than people who enforce it every day?

This is Rule of Law week for the Salem-Roanoke County Bar Association.

Judges and lawyers from all levels of the court system are going into middle school civics classrooms to put a face to those who deal with the law.

Teachers we spoke to say it's a lesson kids always enjoy learning.

"They're experts in the law. I've been doing this for a while, but I'm no expert in the law. I like the law but I'm no expert in it. Having these guys in here is just enormous for the kids," said Robert Penn, a Civics teacher at Andrew Lewis Middle School.

This is the fifth year the bar association has participated.
