A written threat discovered inside the Bedford Science and Technology building prompted evacuation Friday morning.
According to Bedford County Public Schools Public Relations/Community Outreach Coordinator Ryan Edwards, the bomb threat was found around 10:15 a.m. Friday. Students and staff were evacuated.
The Sheriff’s Office deemed that the threat was not credible at noon Friday, after a bomb sniffing dog was brought in to canvas the school.
Students and staff were able to reenter the building and afternoon classes will resume as scheduled.
