BOTETOURT CO., Va. -

A bank robber has struck in Botetourt County again, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Carter Bank and Trust on Route 460 was robbed Saturday morning. The bank was also robbed on the morning of May 18. Investigators believe the same man is responsible for both robberies.

On both occasions the man took a handwritten note out of his wallet that demanded money. The note is written in all capital letters, and claims that he has a gun.  He left the bank in a red 2000s model, four-door Chevrolet Cavalier. The car has a dent on the passenger side front fender.
