Buena Vista man charged with stabbing woman at Amherst County attraction

Codee Clark has been charged with malicious wounding

A Buena Vista man has been charged with stabbing a woman at Panther Falls in Amherst County.

The incident happened Thursday at Panther Falls, which is an attraction in the George Washington National Forest.

25-year-old Codee Clark has been charged with malicious wounding. Investigators say Clark and the victim knew each other. The woman was treated at a Lexington hospital and released.

Clark is being held at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail without bond, pending a preliminary hearing.
