BLACKSBURG, Va. -

At the Inn at Virginia Tech they call it Fashions for Evergreens.

Since the hotel opened in 2005, during the holiday season, Christmas trees have been put on display and decorated by area businesses and organizations. The hotel has 14 trees in all decorated this year.

Guests and visitors are encouraged to stroll through and take in the sights.

"Every year we set the Fashions for Evergreens in place by Thanksgiving and we'll keep it up through the first of January so it's throughout the entire holiday season. Allows people to come in early and take pictures of their families, a lot of people share them on their Christmas cards,” Tom Shaver, General Manager of the Inn at Virginia Tech, said.
