The driver of a car that hit and killed an infant on Sunday in Campbell County is a 25-year-old Lynchburg woman, according to Virginia State Police.
There was also a 16-year-old passenger in the vehicle.
Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to state police.
There were several children playing in the parking lot when the accident happened.

The Virginia State Police is looking into the circumstances that led to the death of a 20-month-old girl in Campbell County.
It happened just after 7 p.m. Sunday at an apartment complex on Ferguson Drive in Timberlake.
A person was backing a car out of a parking space when the car hit the child.
She was pronounced dead at Lynchburg General Hospital.
Troopers say several kids were playing in and around the parking lot at the time of the incident.
