RUSTBURG, Va. -

A meeting next week will help Campbell County leaders map out a future for their public schools.

County staff members have been working with a consulting firm to come up with a long-range plan for construction.

The school board and board of supervisors will get their first look at the plan during a joint meeting Tuesday afternoon.

School leaders have previously talked about closing the county's four high schools and building two new, consolidated schools.

Tuesday's meeting starts at 4 at the Haberer building in Rustburg.
