LEXINGTON, Va. (AP) -- -

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor delivered a speech on national security during a visit to Virginia Military Institute on Monday.

The Virginia Republican said that America's "friends" worry that we have lost our way and the will to live up to our values. He also said that American foreign policy should not be guided by hollow rhetoric, unwise or moveable timelines, and unenforced red lines.

WDBJ7's Joe Dashiell attended the speech in VMI's Cameron Hall. Check back soon for more updates.
