GALAX, Va. -

A Carroll County woman won $1 million on a scratch off ticket.

Carol Lammey of Woodlawn became the second Virginia Lottery player to win the top prize of the “Winner Take All” game.

Lammey bought the ticket at Cockerham’s Foodmart at 115 East Stuart Drive in Galax. The store earned $10,000 for selling the ticket.

Lammey took a one-time cash option of $537,393, rather than taking the full $1 million prize over 30 years.

Four $1 million prizes for the game are still unclaimed.
