ROANOKE CO., Va. -

Chick-fil-A hopes to build a restaurant in the Bonsack area of Roanoke County.

Corporate Property Services filed a land use application with the Roanoke County Department of Community Development.

The request is to build a fast-food restaurant at 3814 Challenger Avenue (Route 460). That’s at the corner of West Ruritan Road, and next to A Cleaner World.

A community meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 13 at Bonsack Elementary School.

A public hearing before the Roanoke County planning commission is scheduled for 7 p.m. April 1, and a public hearing is slated for 7 p.m. April 22. Both meetings will be held at the Roanoke County Administration Center.
