ROANOKE, Va. -

It's no doubt that Dairy Queen's blizzards are a sweet treat. But on Thursday, they taste even sweeter.

Children's Miracle Network and Dairy Queens nationwide are partnering for the 30th year for Miracle Treat Day. Proceeds from blizzard sales will directly go to CMN to help sick children.

This may vary depending on location. For example, the Orange Avenue Dairy Queen in Roanoke will donate $2 for every blizzard sold. This location is open from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Money raised toward CMN stays local, to help the area's sick kids. The local chapter of CMN is located in the Carilion Clinic Children's Hospital in Roanoke.

Dairy Queens in Roanoke, Salem, Rocky Mount, Danville, Moneta, Dublin and other hometowns are participating.
