PITTSYLVANIA CO., Va. -

Fire Crews responded to a fire at a home along Woodlake Drive in Blairs Tuesday afternoon.

According to Blairs Volunteer Fire Department, the call came in around 3:15 p.m.

Chief Paul Gammon tells us the fire started in the garage.

Firefighters who were first on scene were told the homeowner was trying to fill his snow blower up with gas when there was an explosion.

Neighbors tell WDBJ7 they heard a loud boom and felt a shudder.

Dry Fork, Chatham and Blairs Fire Departments responded.

According to the chief, no one was injured.
