Grandin Road Water Main Break
ROANOKE, Va. -

Crews have repaired a water main break near Grandin and Carlton roads in southwest Roanoke.

A spokeswoman for the Western Virginia Water Authority says traffic is now moving on Grandin Road.

Crews have isolated a water main break near the intersection of Grandin and Carlton roads in Roanoke.  They hope to have the break repaired by early afternoon.

Earlier Tuesday, a large area of southwest Roanoke City had low water pressure or no water.  A spokeswoman for the Western Virginia Water Authority says pressure should be returned to normal, now that the break has been isolated.  She did not know how many customers were currently without water.

Grandin Road is closed between Carlton Road and Guilford Avenue.
