WYTHEVILLE, Va. -

Norfolk Southern workers are cleaning up a big mess in Wytheville.

A train derailed along the Grayson Turnpike around 6:15 p.m. on Monday, and it could impact your morning drive.

Grayson Turnpike is an area you want to avoid if you live in Wytheville or if you have to head this way for work on Tuesday morning.

If you have to head this way -- those traveling southbound will have to detour onto Old Stage Road then High Bridge Road.

That turns into Winding Road, and that'll put you back onto Route 21.

Railroad Avenue is also closed.

This arrangement could be like this for the rest of the day, or possibly even longer.
