Firefighters are keeping a close eye on what's left of a brush fire on Old Cifax Road.
That's in the Goode area.

The fire grew to between 20 to 25 acres, but it's now mostly contained.

This all started Saturday just after 1 p.m. when a firefighter saw smoke in the area from his house.

Crews from a number of area fire departments responded.

The first thing they did was create a defense barrier to keep the fire from spreading to a barn and nearby house.

Now firefighters making sure the fire doesn't start up again.
