ROANOKE, Va. -

A year ago we told you about a business experiment, SW Market, a grocery store in the 16 West Building in downtown Roanoke.

There were some bumps in the road, ownership changed a few months ago, but since then, we're told business has been good.

"Things have definitely been looking up since that, we've been increasing our sales, increasing our number of customers," said Clare Humphrys, the grocery store's general manager, "We're always doing lots of things to bring in new customers and bring people in."

The market has also relied on special events to bring in customers.

They have live music during lunch breaks and they have events on the weekends, like an upcoming Octoberfest celebration this Saturday at 2 pm.
