A fire that broke out in the 2500 block of Shenandoah Avenue Tuesday has been ruled as electrical.

Roanoke Fire-EMS responded to a call about the house fire at 5:51 p.m. It was under control at 6:05 p.m., according to a news release.

The fire caused an estimated amount of $4,000 in damages.

No one was injured in the fire.
