FLOYD CO., Va. -

The mop up continues in Floyd County after a fire damaged a business and two-apartments.

According to the Floyd County Sheriff's Office, it happened Friday morning on route 221 south.

Chief Investigator Jeff Dalton, who sent us these pictures- says it happened in an old building which houses a pawn shop on the bottom level and two apartments on the top.

Dalton says a woman was cooking in one of the apartments when the fire broke out.

Everyone was able to get out safely.

The apartments are a total loss.
